Arkansas City officials are hosting a meeting to get input from the community about the level of interest in starting neighborhood associations, according to a written statement released Monday.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. April 9 at city hall, 118 W. Central in Ark City.
The discussions will include what a neighborhood association is and what it can do for the neighborhood and community. The role of the City will be to help facilitate a grass roots effort to implement neighborhood associations.
