Winfield police will not be releasing the name of the man found dead at the Winfield Intermediate School last month.
Investigators concluded the man died of a self-inflicted wound and, because the death was ruled a suicide, are not naming him. Efforts by NewsCow to independently identify the person have not been successful.
A school-district official said she had not been provided with a name and that little information on the May 19 incident was available.
The body of the man in his early 30s was found between an air-conditioning unit and the north side of the building.
