Pake McEntire to perform in Winfield Oct. 10

Country music singer and fiddle player Pake McEntire will be performing at the Quail Valley Fun Barn Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. and supper begins at 6.

Pake, along with his sisters, Reba, Alice, and Susie, learned how to sing three and four-part harmony while traveling with their father, Clark, to rodeos.

They became the Singing McEntires in the 1970s with their first hit single The Ballad of John McEntire – a song about their grandfather.

Pake is a former RCA recording artist who has toured since the 1980s. He’s had three top 20 hits on the Billboard’s Country Charts. He’s performed with Garth Brooks, George Strait, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, The Judds, Alabama, and Ronnie Milsap.

In addition, he’s appeared on Hee Haw, Nashville Now, and A&E Biography.

His show features a wide variety of easy listening country music ? from Bob Wills to Rascal Flats ? along with a few stories about his sisters. Pake currently performs throughout the Midwest. His appearance at the Fun Barn will feature a surprise guest performer.
