Well-known Arkansas City businessman Allen Herman is in fair condition following an incident Thursday afternoon, according to a hospital spokesperson.
Herman was suffering from a gunshot wound when he was taken to an Ark City hospital. He was then transported to Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, where he remains. Details regarding the incident have not been released.
Ark City chief Sean Wallace declined to comment on the incident, which happened around noon.
