County mum on Cowley First director’s future

If a decision has been made about director Heidi Hill’s future with Cowley First, county manager Leroy Alsup isn’t ready to talk about it yet.

Hill was placed on paid administrative leave July 2 and a tenative date for her return was set for July 23. Alsup said late Thursday that he had no additional comment on the matter.

But he did acknowledge that Hill had not returned to work and gave no indication she would any time soon. Attempts to contact Hill have not been successful.

Alsup has previously said that Hill’s status would be reviewed at some point but has not given a firm timefram as to when that would happen.

Hill’s absence leaves the county-run agency without a staff. Kerri Falletti, who had worked with Cowley First for some time, left this summer for a job with the Cowley County Outreach Center ? an business-training cooperative.
