Authorities find pot after search in Winfield Fri.

Two people were arrested Friday night after authorities served a search warrant at a Winfield home and turned up some pot and drug paraphernalia, according to a written report on the incident.

Nicole Brown, 24, and Tony Raines, 25, both of Winfield, were arrested and booked into the Cowley County Jail. They face charges that include possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within a thousand feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia and no drug tax stamp.

The Cowley County Drug Task Force and Winfield Police executed the search warrant at a home at 505 Harter, near Irving School. They found a substance believed to be marijuana and items consistent with the sale of marijuana.
