Ark City man arrested for entering home, threatening owner

An 18-year-old Arkansas City man was arrested Saturday after he reportedly kicked in the door of a home, entered the residence and attempted to strike a homeowner, according to a report from police.

Mason Renollet faces a number of charges, including aggravated burglary, criminal damage to property, driving under the influence of alcohol, flee and elude, minor in consumption of alcohol and disobeying a traffic control device.

Officers went to a home in the 100 block of N. Fourth after receiving a report that a man had kicked in the door at a residence. The man had left the scene by the time police arrived.
