A car being pursued by law enforcement officers early Sunday morning struck a telephone pole in Arkansas City. The four occupants in the 1999 Saturn were treated at South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center and then released.

The accident occurred in the Fifth Street alley between Summit and A streets at 3 a.m. No police vehicles were damaged, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Donovan Anthony Dean, 19, the driver, Kyson Paschal Scott, 21, Mason Renollet, 17, and Ernest Leon Manly, 21, were injured. None were wearing safety restrains, the KHP reported.
