Ark City cops looks into sex exploitation case

Arkansas City police have arrested a 20-year-old Ark City man for sexual exploitation of a child they were able to identify using Internet pictures.

Tyler Dewayne Robbins was booked into the county jail. He posted bond and was released from jail Tuesday. Formal charges have not been filed by the county attorney.

Police chief Sean Wallace said an anonymous caller told police about a child in town that may have been sexually abused.

"The caller had only an online name to go by," Wallace said. "Officers investigated the online name and other avenues and identified" Robbins.

A computer, photographs, and other evidence that cannot Wallace said can not be described without harming the case was recovered from Robbins’ residence.
