Youth speaker is coming to Ark City schools

Bob Lenz ? a noted youth speaker ? will be in Arkansas City in February to speak with high school and middle school students.

Lenz will be in town Feb. 4 and 5 to speak at the high school and middle school. He will visit Cowley College at 6 p.m. Feb. 5 to speak with college teens and their parents.

The event is being organized by the Arkansas City Police Department and the high school’s SADD group.

Lenz is considered one of the nation’s top youth speakers, according to information provided by the police department. He connects with his audiences by sharing valuable principles intertwined with stories and personal experiences that help youth deal with real life.?

He explores sober issues while using humor.

The topic at the High School and Middle School is Values, Courage, and Respect. The topic for the Town Hall Program is Parent-Teen.? This helps parents to relate to teenagers, shows parents practical skills and how to understand the pressures of today’s culture.

The presentation will also include an appearance by A.J. the Animated Illusionist.
