Brian Etheridge, the Sedgwick Co. Sheriff’s deputy killed in the line of duty Monday, has a tie to Cowley County, friends and family said.
Etheridge was married to Sarah Blevins Etheridge. Her parents are Rick and Diane Blevins, Derby, and Sarah is the granddaughter of Bill and Jeanne Blevins of Arkansas City.
Brian Etheridge was shot and killed Monday in Sedgwick County while on the job. The man suspected in his shooting was later shot and died from his injuries, according to news reports.
