Cowley County’s annual storm spotter presentation is set for next month at Cowley Cinema 8 Theatre near Strother Field.
The presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m., Feb. 23 and features Chance Hayes and Robb Lawson. Hayes is warning coordination meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
Lawson is a forecaster and meteorologist for the weather service.
Each year a storm spotter presentation is offered in an attempt to educate the public on the difference between threatening weather and weather that appears threatening but is not. Spotters, emergency responders and the general public are invited to the event.
