The emergency accident reporting plan went into effect in Winfield at 1 p.m. Friday due to the bad weather, police said.
If you are involved in a minor accident, you can follow emergency accident reporting place procedure, which calls for the exchange of insurance information. The accident should be reported to police within 24 hours.
A minor accident means: there are no injuries as a result of the accident, no alcohol or drugs are involved, all vehicles are drivable and all vehicles involved are still at the scene.
