No one is sure who it was that kicked and broke out a large front window at the Home Town Rental on Main early Sunday.
Video surveillance footage shows a "younger gentlemen" approaching the store and kicking the window around 1 a.m. or later. The glass broke and fell onto furniture and a flat screen television that will have to be replaced, store manager Lloyd Mason said.
"Unfortunately it wasn’t a cheap one," Mason said of the TV. "But at this point we’re not really sure who did it, it wasn’t a disgruntled customer or anything like that."
Winfield police officials said that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. A police report values damage done to the window at $700.
The store is located at 1020 Main and is next door to a bar. Both police and Mason said they had no idea if the person who struck the window had been at the bar prior to the incident.
