An area teenager was injured Sunday evening when the three-wheeler ATV vehicle he was riding collided with a pickup truck near Geuda Springs.
The teen suffered broken bones and possible internal injuries and was taken by air ambulance to a hospital in Wichita. Information in regard to his condition is not known.
The accident occurred on E. 150th Rd. just west of River Rd. when the driver of the ATV left an oil field access road and drove in front of a pickup driving at a legal speed, according to Sumner Sheriff’s deputy Tim Soule.
Soule said any traffic citations issued as a result of the accident would be issued to the driver of the ATV.
