Dayton Rodrigues ? a Cowley College student who was a co-captain on the school’s soccer team ? was killed over the weekend in a motorcycle accident near Tulsa, Okla., school officials have confirmed.
Rodrigues had recently graduated from Cowley and was to play soccer at John Brown University. Details of the accident have not yet been released.
He was a student ambassador at the college and active in a number of activities at the school, school spokesperson, Rama Peroo, said. The college is providing a bus for those wanting to attend Rodrigues’ funeral.
Services for Rodrigues, a native of Oklahoma, are to be held Thursday.
