A Geuda Springs woman was injured Tuesday in an accident that occurred about nine miles south of Oxford in Sumner County.
Lori M. Terrel, 46, was taken to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in Wichita by air ambulance. She was in fair condition this morning.
The single-vehicle accident happened as Terrel was driving a 2004 Ford pickup south on Oxford Rd. around 4:35 p.m. Her vehicle hit an icy patch in the road, according to Mike Yoder of the Sumner County Sheriff’s office.
The vehicle entered a ditch and rolled onto its top.
Terrel was wearing a seat belt and shoulder harness when the accident happened. A 17-year-old male passenger in the truck suffered minor injuries.
