George Jackson, 98, of Arkansas City, Kan., passed away at the Medicalodges of Arkansas City on Friday, November 4, 2011.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church of Arkansas City. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Burial will be at the Riverview Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to help with funeral expenses and may be left with the funeral home. Arrangements are with the Hawks-Shelley Funeral Home & Crematory of Arkansas City.
