A local businessman charged with misdemeanor sexual battery has been granted a second court continuance.
Dale Eugene Hendrickson was originally summoned to appear in Cowley County District Court in Winfield July 7.
His attorney appeared for him and was granted a continuance until Tuesday, Aug. 7.
His attorney appeared for him on Aug. 7 and the case was continued again until Aug. 28.
The alleged victim attended both hearings.
Sexual battery is classified as a Class A Person Misdemeanor and punishable by up to one year in jail and a maximum of $2,500.
