A local house painter remained in critical condition Tuesday morning in the burn unit at Via Christy-St. Francis in Wichita with burns he suffered when his car ran off a curve on N. College Street in Winfield. Aug. 27.
Steven Shamburg was trapped in his burning car for a time before he was rescued. He suffered severe burns over most of his body.
