A public address system ? valued at $1,600 ? has been stolen from the community building in Atlanta, according to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Department. The burglary was discovered early in November.
Atlanta resident Judy Wilson called to report the missing equipment and it is believed that suspects forced entry through the rear door. The building at 323 Main was last used on Labor Day.
The burglary was discovered during a work day on Nov. 8 and Wilson reported the incident Monday. The report did not cite a reason for the delay.
