Cowley County commissioner Gary Wilson filed Monday morning for a second four-year term.
The Arkansas City Democrat represents residents in the second commission district, which includes: Beaver, Bolton, Cedar, Grant, Silverdale, Spring Creek and West Creswell townships and residents of Arkansas City living in precincts: 2B, 2C, 2D, 3A, 3B, 3C, 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D and 4E.
Commissioner Carmelita Clarkson, a Republican from Winfield, is also serving the last year of a four-year term but has not indicated whether she will seek a second term.
The filing deadline is June 10.
