The Winfield school district has received eight letters of interest from those seeking to fill the position left open by Floyd Goff, who left in December. The chosen board member will serve until the next scheduled election.
These are the eight: Louise Bevilacqua, Lisa Buffum, Jaimie Hibbs, Kevin W. Hopkins, Michael Kelley, Webster T. Roth, Mark W. Taylor and Treasure A. Wehner. Board members will interview the candidates at their next regular meeting at 7 p.m Monday.
It is not clear when a final decision will be made.
