Officials with USD 465 are accepting applicants for a vacancy on the Winfield Recreation Commission created by the resignation of Kent Miller.
The successful applicant will serve the remainder of Miller’s term which expires June 30, 2011. The recreation commission meets the second Monday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Winfield Recreation Commission office.
Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest to Tom Fell by October 1.
The Winfield Board of Education will make the appointment at its October 13 meeting.
