A 33-year-old Winfield man pleaded not guilty Thursday to two counts of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child.
A pre-trial conference for Cyril Isaac Pappan was set for Sept. 8 in Cowley County District Court in Winfield. He remains in the county jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
The incidents occurred last April and involved two seven-year-old boys who live in the same area as Pappan.
The crime is classified as a person felony and punishable with a prison sentence ranging from 31 months to 136 months. Sentences can be made to run consecutive or concurrently.
