Woman arrested after an incident in Ark City

An Arkansas City woman was arrested Wednesday evening for lewd and lascivious behavior, pedestrian under the influence and battery, according to Ark City Police Chief Sean Wallace.

Shelly Lynn Hall, 33, was taken in custody after police found her walking in the 700 block of N. Summit Street with her pants down, and very intoxicated, Wallace said.

"The victims stated that she had asked one of the men to have sex with her. When he refused, she became angry and began to curse at them," he said. "During this time, Hall struck an Ark City woman in the head."

She was transported first to the police station and later to the Cowley County jail. Bond is $2,000.
