Students from Ark City and Winfield are teaming up to go pink and raise money for breast cancer research.
Both schools are selling pink Cowley County Clash t-shirts to raise money for the Kay Yow Cancer Foundation. The shirts are $10 each and must be ordered by Feb. 10.
Organizers hope Ark City’s gym will be covered in pink-shirted fans when Ark City and Winfield meet on the basketball court Feb. 19. A Pink Zone will be set up at the game and students will be selling pink bracelets and raising money in other ways.
