County clerk Karen Brooks will speak to Arkansas City students about the voting process during a presentation at Ark City High School Wednesday.
Brooks is to speak with seniors in the auditorium at 9:30 a.m. As clerk she also serves as the county’s chief election officer.
The high school FFA group organized the event as part of the district’s Kids Voting Kansas initiative. FFA will hold a voter registration drive during and after the presentation for students who will be of legal age to vote Nov. 4.
