The criminal case against a Winfield teen accused of arson in connection with a fire that destroyed the Island Park playground has been continued until 3:30 p.m. January 7.
Zachary Buhlke, 17, was scheduled to appear in Cowley County District Court in Winfield Wednesday. Winfield attorney Jennifer Passiglia is representing Buhlke.
Two other teens are charged with obstructing justice in connection with the Oct. 27 fire. Christie Chaisson, 15, and Bret Martinez, 17, are scheduled to be back in court Dec. 10.
