An Arkansas City teen ? missing since the weekend ? has been located following the efforts of family and police.
Lauren Maxwell, 16, had been last seen Sunday and friends and family had circulated fliers at some local businesses in an attempt to locate her. Anyone with details was asked to call Ark City police.
Maxwell reportedly left her house without telling anyone and did not return. A police spokesperson confirmed the department was asked to help locate Maxwell.
By late Monday night, Maxwell’s family used the social-networking Web site MySpace to report Lauren had been located and returned home. The family offered thanks to local police.
