Firefighters in Arkansas City were called to Greendoor La Familia restaurant Wednesday to snuff a small electrical fire.
Emergency crews arrived at the restaurant on W. Madison to find that a junction box above a waitress station had begun to smolder. Insulation around the box had begun to smoke due to the heat.
The wooden structure around the box was wet down and a small number of staff was evacuated until it was safe to reenter the building. The restaurant opened for business Wednesday.
