A man and woman were arrested early Sunday morning after they tossed a case of beer out the window in rural Cowley County, according to a report from the sheriff’s department.
Around 3 a.m., sheriff’s deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 29000 block of 11th Road – west of Arkansas City – after the beer was tossed out. Upon further investigation, the driver, Andrea Sparks, 18, was arrested on an outstanding district court warrant for failure to appear.
A passenger, Porter L.B. Ford, 20, was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and littering.
