A Winfield man was the lucky winner of a hybrid sedan given away Wednesday night as part of the Goin’ Green promotion at Native Lights Casino.
Kevin Ruyle’s name was pulled from among the more than 10,000 entries and he was the winner of a 2010 Ford Fusion and $500. He entered the contest multiple times by hitting a suited blackjack or getting three of a kind in three-card poker.
"They wanted me to sign papers when I won it," he said. "And I could hardly sign my name I was shaking so bad."
Ruyle said he hadn’t decided whether to keep the car and drive it or try to sell it. He’ll pick it up on Monday. He was told the vehicle was valued at around $35,000.
Calls to Native Lights seeing comment were not immediately returned.
