Ark City police make drug bust at local motel

It all started with a report of drug activity at the Arkansas City Sonic Drive-In Wednesday and ended with a drug bust at a local motel that turned up pot, cocaine, prescription drugs and Ectasy, police said.

Two men who were suspected of drug activity were reported to police who went to investigate. Upon arrival, officers spoke with two Wichita residents who consented to a search of their vehicle.

Pot and Xanex pills were found and after further investigation police learned the two people in custody had rented a motel room locally. William Delgauido and Danielle Brown were arrested at the drive-in restaurant.

A room was searched and police uncovered marijuana, drug paraphernalia and Ectasy, according to Ark City police Capt. Tom Scott. A secon room was searched and marijuana, cocaine, paraphernalia and Xanex were located.

Two others were then taken into custody.

Scott said the amount of drugs found indicated it was for personal use. The incident occurred at the TownHouse Motel on Summit and all suspects appeared only to be passing through town.

The following people face the charges below:

Delgauido faces charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.? Bond:? $7,000

Brown was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of xanex.? Bond:? $12,000

Jorge Romero ws charged with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of Ecstasy.? Bond:? $3,000

Danna Bounsana was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of Ecstasy.? Bond:? $3,000.
