Boards of education for Winfield and Ark City will meet jointly this evening for a special board meeting in which local legislators will update the boards on budget matters.
The meeting is not a public forum but an opportunity to take in information and for board members to answer questions, Alicia Call, spokesperson for the Ark City district, said.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the district office in Winfield.
