Arkansas City police searched a residence Saturday and arrested two Cowley County residents on drug charges, according to a written statement from police.
Dawn Stacy, 32, Ark City, and Lynn Johnson, 52, Winfield, were arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia. Other items, believed to be drug related, have been sent to the Kansas Bureau of Investigations for testing.
Stacy and Johnson were booked into jail on $6,000 bonds and both have since posted bond and been released. Police said numerous items of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were discovered in the residence and on the property which is located at 501 N. Seventh in Ark City.
