Cowley Sheriff’s officers are investigating the death of an elderly man found in his home near Ark City Monday night.
Authorities gave no indication that foul play was suspected in the case but said an autopsy had been ordered just in case. Trackers were also at the scene because the sheriff’s department wanted ensure the death was thoroughly looked into, officers at the scene said.
The man, said to be in his late 80s, was found in the living room of a home near the intersection of 304th Rd. and 61st Rd.
