Parents at Roosevelt Elementary School in Ark City are being asked to follow some pick-up and drop-off rules that are in effect while the building is being renovated.
Principal Jeri Crumbliss said the following changes are in effect immediately:
The south entry doors at the corner of Walnut and C Street are closed except for emergency exit purposes.
Traffic flow on Walnut, between B and C Streets, is reduced to a single lane. Parents are encouraged to avoid this area.
All bus traffic will be directed to the B Street doors, which are near the gym.
All students should arrive to school and leave school through the main, C Street entrance or through the B Street doors, as directed by staff members.
Entrance into the fenced construction zone is strictly prohibited.
