The episode of Extreme Forensics featuring the Jodi Sanderholm murder case will air on May 3, according to Sanderholm’s mother, Cindy.
Producers have contacted the family to tell them the air date is approaching. A new season of the show begins this month.
A crew was in Cowley County last year to film the show which centers on the murder of Ark City’s Sanderholm and the subsequent investigation that led to the arrest of Justin Thurber. Thurber was sentenced to death for the crime in 2009.
Cindy Sanderholm said the show will air under a slightly different name: Solved ? Extreme Forensics. She expects a few more details to be available soon.
The show airs on the Investigation Discover channel, which is digital cable channel on Cox Cable.
