Two women hurt in the accident that killed Kari Rinehart are recovering from their injuries, according to officials at Wesley Medical Center.
Kati Rinehart was released from the hospital on Monday. Reva Sams has been upgraded to fair condition.
Both women were passengers in a car driven by Kari Rinehart, who died after a head on collision with an oncoming vehicle. The women were attending Wichita State University together.
KAKE news reports that police indicate alcohol may have been a factor in the accident. The driver of the other vehicle has been tested and results are pending.
