Investigators renew call for help in May case

It’s been a year since Winfield’s Harmonica Man went missing, and a police investigator is appealing to the public again for information that might bring resolution to the case.

On Dec. 10, 2009, Richard May left the home of an associate in Pawhuska, Okla. and has not been seen or heard from since. The local police department, and police Sgt. Chad Gordon, said some advancements have been made, but not enough to bring resolution to the case.

May is missing and presumed dead. Police have had persons of interest in the case, but to date no arrests have been made.

"Any assistance or information from the community would be greatly appreciated by family members and law enforcement," Gordon said in a written statement.
