Are you or someone you know running for a local office this political season? Are you looking for a quick and easy way to meet voters?
Starting next Friday, and running through the April 5 general election, NewsCow is offering each candidate a chance to meet voters through the site’s live blogs. Better yet, it’s exposure that’s totally free of charge.
To sign up, just click here and send us an email indicating which Friday you are available to blog with us. Our blogs start at 2:30 p.m. and usually run until about 5:30 p.m. Slots are available at any time during our regular Friday question and answer session but will be limited to 15 minutes.
We’ll give you a few minutes to introduce yourself and tell us why your running, a few minutes for questions from our moderator and then a chance to answer questions from our bloggers.
If you e-mail us a photo we’ll upload it and give voters a chance to see your face as well.
Slots are available on a first come, first served basis, so move quickly.
