National Night Out festivities attracted good-size crowds in Arkansas City and Winfield Tuesday night.
While Ark City opted for the individual block parties, Winfield centralized its night out at Island Park. Around 800 free hotdogs were gobbled up at the Winfield event.
National Night Out is a drug and crime prevention program that seeks to connect emergency responders and law enforcement with the citizens they serve.
