A Wichita man was hospitalized Sunday morning when he wrecked his motorcycle near Arkansas City.
David Vignatelli, 49, was taken to the emergency room at the South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center for treatment. The accident occurred just before 11 a.m.
Vignatelli was eastbound on Grouse Creek Road, about eight miles north of U.S. 166 Highway, when he lost control of his 2001 Harley-Davidson. The motorcycle received minor damages and came to rest in a ditch.
Vignatelli’s condition was not immediately available this morning. However, reports from the scene indicated his injuries were not life threatening.
