Two Winfield residents suffered injuries as a result of a motorcycle accident near Latham Sunday afternoon, according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Russell C. Bazil, 51, and Becky David, 44, were hurt when Bazil lost control of the 1996 Kawasaki they were riding on SE Quivira road. Both Bazil and David were ejected from the cycle, the KHP report said. The accident occurred at 3:35 p.m.
Bazil was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita and David was taken to Susan B. Allen Hospital in El Dorado for treatment. Neither hospital listed the pair as current patients.
