The Udall softball team (22-1) will square off against Southwestern Heights (17-4) in round 1 of the state softball championships Friday at Trusler Sports Complex in Emporia.
Udall enters the eight-team tournament with the second-best record in class 2-1A. The tournament wraps up Saturday with the championship game.
The Udall Eagles advanced to state by defeating Sterling in the championship game of their regional tournament earlier this month. The girls are pictured above with their regional championship trophy.
