Two Cedar Vale residents were injured when their Volkswagen ran off K-15 at a high rate of speed and overturned Thursday afternoon.
Ashley Renee Suter, 20, was driving the vehicle 430 feet north of 162nd Road where K-15 curves to the west. She lost control in the curve and the car rolled, ending up in a ditch on its roof, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Suter, and a passenger, Cody Allen Wright, 17, were taken to Newton Memorial Hospital to be evaluated.
