Plea agreement reached in Chautauqua case

A plea agreement has been reached for a second man involved in a kidnapping and rape case in Chautauqua County. Jury selection for the case was set to begin this morning but the agreement was reached.

Attorney General Steve Six announced Monday that Aaron Terning, of Chautauqua County, pleaded no contest and was found guilty of rape and aggravated kidnapping stemming from the abduction of a 14 year-old female last year.

Stephen Greger, the other defendant in the case,?was sentenced to 330 months for the aggravated kidnapping in May 2008.

Terning will be sentenced on Nov. 2 at 10 a.m.
