A Wichita man was taken to a Wichita hospital early Wednesday morning after he rolled his vehicle south of Arkansas City, according to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Department.
Bryon Porter, 25, was westbound on 322nd Road when he attempted to pass a vehicle. Porter told police that his 2008 Cadillac hit a slick spot and rolled into a ditch. Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the accident, Undersheriff Don Read said.
The accident occurred around 3:15 a.m.
Porter was first taken to the hospital in Ark City before being transferred to Wichita by ambulance.
