The statewide tornado drill is scheduled for next week as part of Severe Weather Awareness Week.
Warning sirens will sound all across Kansas at 1:30 p.m. next Tuesday, March 10. In the case of inclement weather, the test will be moved March 12.
Emergency management officials urge the public to treat the test as if it were a real event and use the time to test plans at home, work or school.
